The Mexigonia Weekly

Mexigonia is an idea for a journey from Mexico to Patagonia. The narration of that journey goes beyond travel blogging to chronicle the people and events of this region during the travel time. Brady and Elizabeth conceived this idea shortly after their time at the Council on Hemispheric Affairs in Washington, DC. They wished to continue writing articles on US-Latin American relations ‘from the field’ during their trip to Patagonia. In light of their perspectives as outsiders, Brady and Elizabeth hope to enhance the understanding between their compatriots and the many varying cultures throughout Latin America, a region so close the US, yet seemingly still so far. The primary goal of these two travelers is to learn more about the region to which they are already drawn.
